terms

The short version, written down properly.

VidWalks is operated by Yoko GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland. Using the site or buying a walk means you agree to this.

01 · what you're buying

A tour is a set of short videos tied to real locations, meant to be walked station by station on the day you buy it or any day after — access never expires. We don't promise a guided tour company's liability coverage or a live guide on the ground; you're walking a route on your own, at your own pace, minding traffic and your surroundings the way you would anywhere.

02 · payment and refunds

Checkout runs through Stripe in CHF; we never see your card details. There's no self-service refund button today — if a walk didn't work out (a broken video, a route that doesn't match reality), write to hello@vidwalks.com and we'll sort it out, refund included where it's fair. A refund issued through Stripe automatically revokes that ticket's access — the walk stops unlocking the moment the refund clears.

03 · your ticket link

Access is a link, not a login — whoever has it can walk the tour. Keep it somewhere sane. If it leaks, your ticket page has a one-tap way to kill the old link and issue a fresh one.

04 · if you guide

You keep ownership of what you film. Publishing a walk gives us a license to store it and show it to whoever buys or previews that tour — nothing more, no other use. You're responsible for what you point a camera at: get a nod from anyone who's clearly the subject of a shot, not just passing through (see the filming guide). We don't review footage before it goes live; if a bystander or a rights holder objects, we'll ask you to fix or remove the offending station, and reserve the right to unpublish a tour ourselves if you don't.

05 · reviews

One review per purchase, shown publicly with whatever name you gave (or none). Edit or delete your own review any time from your ticket page — nobody else's content or credentials are touched by that.

06 · liability, plainly

Walks happen outdoors, in real streets and real traffic — that risk is yours, the way it would be on any self-guided walk. We're not liable for a guide's directions being wrong, a station being temporarily inaccessible, or anything that happens while you're out walking. Swiss law governs this agreement; disputes go to the courts of Zurich.

How your data is handled specifically — what we collect, who sees it, and how to get it deleted — lives at /privacy.
